Jos based industrialist and the Managing Director of NELMAC Global resources, an indigenous drilling and borehole pipes producing company, Ambassador Uba Nelson Nkparu has disclosed that his company has employed over 200 youths while expressing his determination to partner with youths irrespective of political and religious divide for a peaceful co existence in Plateau state.
He made this known while speaking with newsmen after receiving an
award of Jarman Matasan/Icon of societal transformation from a group, Northern Youth Council of Nigeria in Jos, the Plateau State capital.
“The youths are the leaders of tomorrow, youths constitute a greater percentage of the population and should be engaged in gainful employment,” stressing that government should create an enabling environment for jobs creation
“I am calling on the Plateau State governor, Simon Lalong to continue to provide an enabling environment for business to grow in the state.”
He said he is willing to partner with the state government to develop Plateau State in terms of creating job opportunities for the teeming youths in order to reduce youth restiveness and poverty in the State.
“Just recently, I paid the school fees for over 50 less privileged
students in some secondary schools.
