International comedian, Salvador from Uganda, Bovi and Basketmouth led
the pack of resourceful comedians at the weekend to wow guests at the
Enugu edition of the ongoing nationwide tour of GloLaffta Fest,
Nigeria’s biggest comedy brand.
The Enugu edition which was the third in the series threw up
outstanding comics who would certainly hit the global comedy scene in
The show got off to a roaring start with neophyte comedians such as
MC Zino, the duo of Sam and Song, MC for God, MC Twin Parrot and MC
Franchez taking turns to dazzle Enugu fun-seekers.
A regular member of the cast of the popular Glo-sponsored TV series,
Professor Johnbull, MC for God, was outstanding as he reeled out
original jokes that resonated well with the appreciative audience. MC
for God used caricature to great effect and this elicited deafening
ovation from attendees.
The appearance of the duo of Sam and Song on stage ignited hearty
laughter among the audience buoyed by the popularity of their skits on
the social media. They act the roles of a preacher and an interpreter,
with most of the punch lines coming from the interpreter. Their
