Thugs Takes Over Sule Lamido’s visit, injure scores, Signals Danger In 2019 Election

It was bloody, as Scores sustained various degrees of injuries when thugs and hoodlums invaded Kaduna North-west campaign premises of the former Governor of jigawa state and 2019 presidential aspirant, Dr. Sule Lamido signals a clear symptoms of danger in the 2019 general elections.

Government must device a means toward preventing political thugs, hoodlums from injuring party loyalist and Journalists.

Lamido who arrived his new Kaduna campaign office in company of two luxurious buses of supporters around 2pm on a private visit to commission the office, was received with heavy clawed.

Our reporter who witnessed the incident reported that trouble started when a man’s hand was cut off by a hoodlum in an attempt to prevent them from gaining entrance to Lamido while he was commissioning the campaign office.

The hoodlums also rushed a tricycle bike with APC flag passing through the office located at Rabah Road, in Badarawa area of kaduna metropolis.

Like communal conflict, Lamido supporters from within and outside kaduna state for the commissioning took to heels, running aimlessly and helplessly for survival, while the thugs followed them closely blandishing knives and cutlasses openly.

The hungry looking thugs forced the occasion to end abruptly by 3:00pm, as the former governor, his director of campaign and organiser were hastily taken away from from the angry youth, as some others were blocked from entering their vehicles, causing serious scared in the entire area.
Some, including journalists, misunderstood for politicians, had to cough out money demanded from them by the thugs, while the rest develop winds and flew from the spot for fear of attacks.

Lamido himself could not stand the time to properly address the audience and media who waited in vain in the campaign conference room.

At the time of filing the reports, the number of victims of the hoodlums attacks were unknown as only a Presidential police ADC was seen in the premises when our reporter tactically disappeared due to hostility.

Speaking during the event, Lamido advised supporters not to allowed themselves to be used as willing tools by politicians but, good ambassador of the north.
