Professor Khalifa Dikwa has called on Kaduna State governor, Malam Nasir el-Rufai to stop selling properties he inherited from the previous administration.
The professor stated this on 17th May, 2017 during a radio programme at Invicta FM 98.9 Kaduna.
Dikwa said when the governor was to run for the governorship, there was no agreement that he was going to sell the state’s assets.
“What he brought as template and all of us agreed has not been implemented. If he is able to execute 60 percent of what he read to us, Kaduna will have been Newyork,” Dikwa said.
He also called on el-Rufai to pay workers’ salary and stop selling properties he inherited from the previous administration.
Dikwa frowned at El-rufai’s style of leadership in Kaduna saying, “el-rufai, begun by fighting virtually everybody. This is somebody who is good at getting result, but after election, you shouldn’t be fighting with stakeholders.
‘’You shouldn’t be thinking you know everything. It is wrong for an elected Governor to be fighting People. Let him listen to People now after all two years is over, 2019 will come and the People of Kaduna State will determine who will be their next governor.”
Reacting on the security, Dikwa said “the old value system must be respected, the traditional institutions must be involve in ensuring peace is restored in our respective communities.
