It was a sad momen for the people of Southern Kaduna as the remains of the immediate past Provost of the Kaduna State College of Education Gidan-Waya, Mrs Hope Joseph Gajere was laid to rest in accordance with the Christian rites.
The funeral service, which took place on Friday at the Gajere’s home town, Kenyi in Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The burial was graced by dignitaries from within and outside the state.
Conducting the funeral service, Rev. Albert Abdullahi Saidu, E.C.W.A Goodnews Low cost Kafanchan, said death is a relief for believers, in Christ Jesus; from troubles of the world.
Speaking on the Theme “The death of a believer, in a Generation without God” haven read Job3:13-16 of the Holy Bible, the clergyman said it was an honour and blessing to die as a believer.
Rev. Albert Abdullahi Saidu admonished Christians to live in righteousness and holiness, worthy of their callings, especially in a generation that does not know God; which will guarantee their inheriting eternal life.
Earlier, Professor Emmanuel Joseph Chom, the Administrator of the Kaduna State College of Education, who led staff to the funeral service, said the deceased was hard working and dedicated to her duty, and prayed God to comfort the family, friends and the College Community and grant them the fortitude to bear her demise.
