Senator Danjuma La’ah representing Kaduna State South Senatorial District in the National Assembly has expressed concern over the prolonged closure of tertiary institutions in the area by the Kaduna State Government.
Senator La’ah bore his mind on the issue while fielding questions from Newsmen in Kafanchan saying, there was no justification for the action as the area is peaceful.
He lamented that the development had not only retarded educational advancement of students, but exposed them to unwholesome acts as a result of idleness.
The Legislature regretted that the decision of the State Government over the matter was rather parochial than in the interest of the public.
Senator La’ah however suggests a round table discussion by Stake Holders to address the situation in the interest of all.
