The 8th Senator of the federal republic of Nigeria is not segregated on whatever basis rather united for the interest of the nation, Senator, Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko has said.
Senator Wamakko, who is the House Committee Chairman on Basic mad Secondary Education stated this yesterday shortly after casting his vote in Gidan Kara village of Wamakko for the Kware/ Wamakko local government bye elections
While commending the peaceful conduct as well as appreciable turnout of voters, Wamakko urged every Nigerian to contribute his/her quota towards making the country a better united place for all.
Said Senator Wamakko, “The eghth Senate is working on the basis of mutual trust and respect. We are not working along tribal or religious inclinations. We are working as Nigerians in the interest of Nigerians.
”We are all there as Nigerians, to work in the interest of Nigeria and Nigerians.? ‘We are not working along tribal or religious inclinations. We are working as Nigerians in the interest of Nigerians. We are not there to argue on sentiments or personal interest”
Talking on the turn out and expected outcome of the National Assembly bye-election, Senator Wamakko said, the massive turn out was very encouraging, adding that, his party, the All Progressive Congress (APC) stand the chance of winning the election with unimaginable margin
” Sokoto state is the home of APC and it is one of the states that are still maintaining the standard as far as APC is concerned.
“‘ The three tiers of government are working and we are doing our possible best to ensure that, we deliver on our promises, hence meet the aspirations and emotions of the people .”
