The Jema’a Local Government Chairman elect in Kaduna State, Hon Peter Danjuma Averik, said Nigerians especially the people of his local government are too wise to be divided on religious lines as he wish them a happy Sallah celebration.
In a Sallah message he personally signed, Averik said: “We are too wise to be divided along religious line. We must live together as ordained by God. Celebrate in love, peace and harmony.”
The statement said: “My dear Muslim brothers and sisters. Your 30 days prayers and fasting is a clear indication of your commitment to the tenets of Islam.”
“In this Eid-el-Kabir, as Allah (SWT) exchanged Ismail with a ram for prophet Ibrahim, He will exchange your prayers with good health and your worries with peace of mind.”
“May this sallah festivity further bring unity among us in Jema’a LGA, Kaduna State and Nigeria at large. We are too wise to be divided along religious line. We must live together as ordained by God. Celebrate in love, peace and harmony.”
