His Highness the Emir of Jema’a, Alhaji Muhammed Isa, Muhammadu, on Friday called on Nigerians to continue supporting the government at all levels and pray for peace, unity and progress of the country and its leaders.
The Emir made the call soon after returning to his palace from observing the Eid Prayer along G.S.S. Road Kafanchan.
The Royal Father commended people, particularly of Jema’a Local Government, Security Agencies and Non Governmental Organizations for the untiring effort at supporting government in the sustenance of peaceful co-existence.
Alh Mohammed Isa Muhammadu assured government of his council and people’s loyalty, for the benefit of all .
He called on the youth to remain law abiding and desist from vices that would truncate peace and development.
Earlier, the Chief Imam of Jama’a Alh. Adamu Tahir called on Muslims to live and put the practice, the lessons of the Sallah celebrations, urging them not to relent in praying for the country, those in leadership, security agencies and safe return of pilgrims from the Holy Land.
Also in their separate sermons, Sheik Tukur Ismail and Sheik Mohammed Kassim emphasized on the symbiotic divine responsibilities of leaders and the led; stating that while God mandates leaders to have compassion for and protect the rights of those they lead, the led should respect and honor their leaders.
