RMD, KOK, Juliet Ibrahim, Other Stars For Glo Laffta Fest At Ajah

The crème de la creme of entertainment on the African continent, including Richard Mofe-Damijo, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Juliet Ibrahim, Salvador from Uganda and Bovi amongst many others are set to tickle Lagosians as the fun boat of Glo Laffta Fest berths at the KFA Marquee by Jakande Estate’s First Gate, Ajah this Sunday.

This is the 27th edition of the highly successful comedy fiesta that has gone round the nooks and crannies of Nigeria since it was teed off on April 16, 2017 in Port Harcourt. Since then, the show has been taken to Abuja, Enugu, Owerri, Warri, Yenegoa, Calabar, Uyo, Ibadan, Benin, Ijebu Ode, Kaduna, Abeokuta, Kubwa, Ikorodu, Suleja Kano, Anyigba, Lokoja, Onitsha and Makurdi to mention a few.
The show has provided uncommon entertainment and fun in all the locations it had been held with venues bursting at the seams with enthusiastic attendees from all walks of life.

The Ajah show, which is the 27th edition of Glo Laffta Fest, will kick off at 4pm and will feature other ingenious comics on the continent, such as Godwin Komone, popularly known as Gordons, Seyi Law, Salvador from Uganda, De Don and MC Tagwaye.

The duo of the hottest Yoruba actors in Nollywood genre, Odunlade Adekola and Bolaji Amusan alias Mr Latin, will further add value to the show.

Two seasoned actresses, Juliet Ibrahim and Mercy Johnson, will compere the show.

“We treated the people of Ajah area of Lagos to an unforgettable evening of music entertainment when we took the Glo Mega Music Nationwide Tour to the same venue. This time, it is comedy like they have never seen it before. Our prospective and existing subscribers should keep a date for a time to remember,” Globacom said in a statement in Lagos.

Bovi, who is one of Nigeria’s biggest comedy export, said: “I am going to be on Glo Laffta Fest Stage in Ajah live on Sunday, together with some of the continent’s best comedians. Make it a date with us. Trust me; you don’t want to miss this!”

Also speaking ahead of the comedy show, Gordons, the self-styled ‘Bishop of Osusu Ministry Worldwide’, said, “I am turbo charged to release fun as never before on Sunday. I call on fun lovers to find their way to that venue for an evening to remember”.

To attend the Ajah show, Glo subscribers who have used up to N2, 000 credit in the last one month are required to text ‘LOL’ with the location name to the short code 240; for example, “LOL Ajah” to 240. Subscribers who do not meet this criterion but who wish to attend the show are requested to go to the event venue with N2000 to purchase airtime for their own use. They will then be entitled to a ticket.
