Stake holders of the Education industry have been reminded of their collective responsibility in revamping the sector.
The Administrator of the Kaduna State College of Education Gidan Waya, Professor Emmanuel Joseph Chom gave the reminder on Thursday in Kafanchan, while present one hundred and sixty (160) chairs and twenty (20) desks to the staff Modal school of the institution.
The school recently was renovated and took delivery of computers, modern teaching boards, with a view of making it a model for all public and private schools in the area.
Professor Emmanuel Chom noted that for the college of Education to play its role effectively as a teacher-training institution, it was incumbent on it to set the pace at the level of pre-primary, primary and secondary school, education for others to emulate, “by putting In place, befitting structures and equipment, especially furniture and modern teaching aid, for effecting teaching/learning.”
He tasked the teachers to do the needful, especially preparation of lesson plans and adhering to stipulated number of twenty-five to thirty pupils per class, as the standard for the achievement of set objectives.
Professor Chom assured the teachers that the college Management will do its best to meet their needs to boost their morals to make them give their best service
