Over 20 People Kidnapped Along Kaduna- Abuja Highway

Information reaching Elanza News has it that over 20 people have been kidnapped along Kaduna- Abuja express way.

It was gathered that the incident took place on Wednesday 7th June 2017, when gunmen stormed the Kaduna- Abuja express road and take captive of over 20 people including men and women.
A source said the victims were kidnapped on a broad daylight around 1:00pm between Sabon Akilibu and Tsohon Akilibu village along Kaduna – Abuja express way.
The source named the people that were kidnapped to includes, Kazah Bulus (Kazzy), Comrade E-hajj Idrees Goga, Simon Terna and Al-Amin.
One of the victims, a commercial driver who miraculously escaped said the Kidnappers were armed with sophisticated weapons.
“They had a field day on the road stopping vehicles indiscriminately, until they gathered over 20 people before they walked them into the nearby bush like flocks.
“There was no any resistance from security agents,” the driver narrated.           
The source who have friends among the people kidnapped, told Elanza News that contact has not been made with the kidnappers.
“No news about them,” he said. “This incident is one too many. More than 40 people within two weeks have been kidnapped on that road,” he added.
Even though the police both in Kaduna and Abuja is yet to react over the incident, it was gathered that the Kidnappers are becoming emboldened day in, day out.
“It is so sad and scary the way the Abuja-Kaduna road which is the major gate way to Abuja from the North West States of Nigeria have become a den of Kidnappers,”Comrade Bello Danjuma Sarki said.
He said Nigerians plying that road have become so helpless and at the mercy of God.
