No fewer than 605 civil cases were handled and resolved by the
Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) across Jigawa state.
The state Commandant, NSCDC, Muhammadu Abdu Durumin Iya revealed this
while speaking to newsmen in his office.
He noted that the figure was recorded in the last year alone, added
that the conflict resolution unit is mediating and brokering peace
among the aggrieved persons and also helping in avoiding litigation
which a times creates more animosity.
