The Nasarawa State Chapter of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has setup a committee to pray to God to grand President Muhammadu Buhari good health.
Bishop Joseph Masin, State’s CAN Chairman disclosed this on Thursday in an interview with press men in Lafia.
“We pray that may Almighty God grant the President speedy recovery in order to come back and continue his responsibilities in office.
“He is our President, so he needs our prayers and we all need to pray for him irrespective of our differences’,” he added.
According to him, the committee is supposed to also pray for the peaceful coexistence among the deferent ethnic groups and religion groups in the state.
He added that the association is also not in support of the disintegration of the country and advised all those agitating for break up to be careful of the consequences.
Masin also said the association has concluded plans to tour all the 13 Local Government Areas of the state to sensitize Christians on the need to embrace peace.
“CAN would soon organize crusade in all the three senatorial zones of the state for the spiritual revival of Christians,” Masin added.
He also advised Christians to be united and tolerate faithful of other religion for the peace and development of the state and the country at large.
He therefore advised the Nasarawa State Government to settle workers salaries and other entitlement in order to end the ongoing strike action by the organized labour.
