Kaduna state representative of a TV reality show, “The Labour Room,” on Monday, escaped from the hands of kidnappers in Ungwan Rimi, Kaduna.
Sharon Demige Istifanus, it was gathered, had gone for her usual beauty lessons at a place called ‘Colours of Meena’ just opposite total filling station in Ungwar Rimi, at about 3pm when the attempts was made on her life.

“On getting to the salon for the beauty lessons, she found out that the manager of the salon that was suppose to attend to her was not around. Sharon then called Mr. Istifanus Daniel Bargo, her uncle and a special adviser to Kaduna state deputy governor to take her back to Barnawa area.”
“He told her he will pass through Ungwan Rimi and pick her since he was having a plan of taking her to a designer that had promised to sew clothes that she will be using for the upcoming reality TV show.”
“While she was waiting at the filling station at about 3:05pm, a black C-class Mercedes Benz similar to that of Mr. Istifanus’ drove there and a man inside the car asked her to join him because her father sent him to pick her,” said one of her managers, Jerry Adams.

Adams continued: “Sharon asked the man who is her father? He replied: “Istifanus, or isn’t that his name?
Adams said when Sharon insisted to know the Istifanus, the man added that the Istifanus was in the office but could not tell her which of the offices.

“Just as Sharon brought out her phone to call Mr. Istifanus, the man in the car zoomed off. When Mr. Istifanus arrived just few minutes later, she asked if he had sent anyone to pick her but he said no. She also called her dad and he told her he did not sent anyone,” Jerry added.
According to her Manager/Team Head, #teamdemige, Mr. Jerry Adams, the issue has been reported at the Ungwan Rimi police station.
LEADERSHIP reports that the TV reality show called “The Labour Room,” kicks off on Sunday 17 September, 2017 in Abuja.
