Jigawa state government said it will construct 84 health facilities
before the end of 2017.
Speaking at the commissioning of one of the completed health facility
at Jaudi village, the state governor Alhaji Badaru Abubakar said his
government is committed toward providing accessible health care
service to all people of the state.
He said with the support of the National Primary Health Care Agency,
donors and development partners, the state government has gone far in
the policy of establishing one functional health facilities in each of
the 287 political wards in the state.
Governor Badaru added that in pursuing his agenda, they will work hard
to reach communities with a view to strengthen immunization exercise,
tackled maternal and child high mortality rate.
“Despite the economic melt-down we have no option than to face our
problems head on with view to relieving our esteem population out of
disease and poverty to meet the National Health Act requirements”. ELANZANEWS.M
