In Thuggery Style, el-Rufai Calls Senators Wayward, Urges Supporters To ‘Shave’ Them

In what appeared to be a style often employ by thugs to cause violence in political meetings, Kaduna State governor, Malam Nasir el-Rufai, has called the three Senators from the state wayward, urging his supporters to “barber one, cut the bears of one and barber the other one.”

Sen Suleiman Hunkuyi and Shehu Sani all members of the APC have faced several attacks by thugs.

But Mr el-Rufai, while speaking today at the flag-off of campaigns for the up coming Local Government Elections in the state held at Rainches Bees Township Stadium, Kaduna, urged his supporters to ‘barber’ the Senators anywhere they see them in the state.

el-Rufai, according to an audio obtained by Elanza News, while addressing his supporters in Hausa Language, lamented how the three Senators stopped the approval for the $350 million loan request put across to the world bank by the state government.
Elanza News reports that the $350 million loan request put forward by el-Rufai is more than the entire debt owe by Kaduna State government since creation.
Kaduna is currently the second indebted states after Lagos with a foreign debt profile put at $232.09 million.
If el-Rufai loan request had scale through, it will take the people of the state 50 years to finish the payment of the $350 million loan. It will have also jerk up the debt profile of the state to over $582 million.
But Mr el-Rufai, who apparently wanted to use the rejection of the loan by the Senators to score political point, said: “World Bank wanted the support of the Senators. But this useless Senators, came out and said the loan should not be given to us.”
“Why don’t they want us to get this loan? It’s because they don’t care about the poor in Kaduna. If we built five schools in your community and remain ten to be accomplished they will not want you to have it. If we stated building hospital in your community they don’t want it completed. If we have repaired five schools in your community instead of 10, they don’t want the five completed,” el-Rufai said.
He said: “Today, there is no hater of the poor in Kaduna like Suleiman Hunkuyi, Shehu Sani and Danjuma La’ah. God punish all of them. God should reverse their wishes to them. As they have blocked the people of Kaduna their wishes, God should repay them back in the same manner. God should punish their blessings.”
“All our lawmakers from this state, God should bless them. God should return them to their seats. Our lawmakers in the State House of Assembly who first gave us the support before the World Bank will give us the loan, God will bless them and take them back to their seats.”
“But these ones that are curse, anytime they enter Kaduna, one, barber his head, cut the bears of one and barber the other one. Because they have shown that they are wayward who have no origin in the state.”
“They have shown that they don’t have a stake in Kaduna and we must place them in that regard. And if the time for election comes, vote them out. Show them what they did with your votes. Show them that they are not needed in Abuja. They should go back to where they comes from. They should go back to the people they are working for to vote for them.”
