I’ll Change The Face Of Kajuru – Hon Cafra

By Henry Gabriel, Kaduna
The candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for the Saturday’s Local Government Election in Kajuru, Hon Cafra Caino has said that his vision is to change the face of the LGA if elected.

Speaking during ‘village-to-village’ campaign he embarked upon ahead of the Saturday’s election, Caino said Kajuru has suffered a lot of setback with so much underdevelopment adding that he will bring creativity and new thinking in the administration of the council.

“We want to change some notion that Kajuru cannot develop. Kajuru as a Local government don’t have a Bank. How can we develop when we don’t have financial institutions?

“I have been discussing with the management of some Banks and if they want to do business with our local government, they should build banks in Kajuru. Kajuru market is a big market that attract people from neighbouring countries and other states of the federation. Why can’t we have a bank here?

“I am the youngest Board member in Kaduna State, I’ve met with several investors and they are willing to do business with us. So, the people of Kajuru should expect good things if they vote us in,” Caino said.

He said trade, skills development, education and women and youth empowerment is part of his agenda for the people of Kajuru.

“We’ve finished planning, it is just for us to implement it. If we get into office, for every six months, people will be train on skills acquisition. ICT centres would be built in Kajuru just for this purpose,” Caino said.

On health, the APC chieftain said Kajuru is an LGA that is faced with River blindness adding that the issue would be address if he emerged chairman.

“Kajuru Castle has been lying down without giving the needed benefit to the people. We will build more resorts to compliment the castle in order to generate more revenue, he said.
Speaking on his plans on agriculture, Caino said: “We will make our rural roads motorable so that our farmers can come from the villages with their farm produce to the market every Thursday. If the roads are good and commercial banks built, the resources of Kajuru will circulate within Kajuru and the LGA will grow economically.”

“I thank God that the government of Malam Nasir el-Rufai has made fertilizers available and in good time. We will ensure that every farmer gets his or her fertilizer. We will also work with Bank of Agriculture and others in other to boost our economy,” Caino added.
