The CEO of Jlo’s World Nigeria Ltd, a Lagos based Non Governmental (NGO), Julie Osakue has rescued a family of six from the wickedness of Boko Haram in the North East.
Elanza News reports that the family has been rehabilitated and the children are now attending school for the first time in their lives.
It was gathered that the children are now doing very well as they can now read and write.
Julie who was responding to enquiry by Elanza News about the activities of her NGO which is changing lives in Nigeria, said the family of six were received from the Northern part of Nigeria at the peak of the Boko Haram terrorist invasion.
She said the family is now doing well in Lagos, Nigeria.
“They have been rehabilitated and the children are now attending school for the first time in their lives. They are doing very well. They can now read and write,” she said.
It was gathers that Jlo’s World Nigeria Ltd has also changed the mind of a woman who wanted to give away a four month old baby because the father denied his responsibility.
“The woman had called in and complained that the father of the child has denied his responsibility. She was desperate to give away her four months old baby boy whose father denied responsibility. We were able to change her mindset and both the child and the mother were rescued from that situation. After series of counseling and assistance, they are now doing well too,” Julie said.
“Today, the mother nurtures her son with much love and we thank God for all your supports also,” Julie added.
Jlo’s World Nig Ltd is touching lives positively and their major focus is on charity.
