The President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has celebrated this year’s children day with kids in Benue State Internally Displaced Person (IDP) camp.
Saraki visited Abagena IDP Camp in Benue State, where he spent some time with the children as part of his activities to mark Children’s Day 2018.
His visit is seen by many Nigerians as a sign of good leadership that Nigerians ought to be experiencing.
In tweets on his @BukolaSaraki handle, the President of the Senate stated that he decided to mark #ChildrensDay at the Abagena IDP Camp in Benue, with those who, due to no fault of theirs, find themselves internally displaced on a day that is set aside for the nation to celebrate her greatest assets, the children.
The Senate President was accompanied by Senators Barnabas Gemade, George Akume, Fatima Raji Rasaki and Emmanuel Bwacha. He engaged in an assessment of the facilities at the camp.
