Adamawa APC distanced self from Atiku 2019 Presidential ambition.

Adamawa State Working Committee of the ruling All progressives
Congress has distance itself from 2019 presidential ambition of the
former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

The party Vice Chairman Northern Zone Muhhamed Abdullahi and the
organising Secretary Ahmed Lawal jointly condemned the call made by
the minister of Woman Affairs Aisha Jummai Alhassan urging Atiku to
contest in 2019.

The Vice Chairman said that its unfortunate for a serving Minister
under Buhari to heat up the polity when the APC led government is
working hard to deliver on its campaign promises.

Many APC stakeholders in the state call for the immediate removal of
the minister.

According to them the minister may constitute herself as a cog in the
wheel of progress since she has indicated where her loyalty lies.

On there part members of the Atiku support group hold divergent view
on the issue.

Speaking to reporters the Director General of the group Hon. Mark Wosi
argued that President Buhari knows where her loyalty lies before
appointing her into his cabinet.

Meanwhile the former Vice-president Atiku Abubakar has criticised the
APC leadership for not holding regular meetings as prescribed by the
party constitution.

The former Vice President lament that he has been sideline by the
ruling APC in the country.
