About 6500 permanent and adhoc staff have been deployed for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) which startednyesterday in 605 CBT centers in the country.

Prof. Is-haq Oloyede stated that 10 officials will be stationed in
“Our team of supervisor and examination monitors which include the
chief external examiners, Youth of Virtue, the NSCDC members and our staff will provide the necessary role in each centre in the
examinations,” he said.
The exam which began yesterday, started by 3.o clock in the afternoon.
The exam in CBTs in Kugo and Dutse in Bwari area council saw that the officials were present making sure that the exams were going as planned.
However, candidates complained of not getting information on the
centers of the exam earlier enough which made them arrive late for the exam.
The Board has however told candidates not to wait for the board to
send the details, but they should visit its website and follow the
instructions provided for viewing and printing out their examination slips.
A total of 1,662,762 candidates registered for this year’s exam which continues until March, 19, 2018.
