The security agencies in Kafanchan, Kaduna State have launched an investigation, seeking to unravel the mystery behind the killing of a-21-year-old girl whose corps was found near a court.
Deborah Stephen who hailed from Angwan Masara Kafanchan, was said to have left home to attend to a call but never return.
Her corps was later found near the Customary Court of Appeal Kafanchan, with security agents and local politicians working to ensure the mystery behind her killing is unraveled.
Her uncle who preferred anonymity, during an interview with Elanza News said they could not ascertain who called her.
He said the family were invited by the police to the Sir Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa General Hospital concerning the insidence.
“They picked her corpse near the customary court of appeal in the early hours of today, which turn out to be one of our daughters,” he said.
The chairman of Jema’a Local Government Council, Mr Peter Danjuma Averik, accompanied by some security agents consoled the family and assisted with burial expenses.
She was buried at about 5:00pm on Wednesday but the security personnel said efforts are being made to unravel the mystery behind her killing.
