2019: PDP’ll Win Kaduna With Title Effort – Miqati

Shuaibu Idris, one of the astute politicians in Kaduna State, popularly known as Miqati, has said that if given the ticket of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), they will win the 2019 election with title efforts.
To this end Miqati has officially joined the race for the Kaduna governorship in 2019, asking for support from Kaduna people.

Miqati who joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2000, did offered himself for Kaduna State governorship contest in 2007 and 2011 but lost during the primary elections.
The desire to serve the people of Kaduna State, according to Miqati, has been the driving force right from the time he joined the party.
While declaring his intention to contest for the position of governor of Kaduna State again in 2019 at the PDP secretariat in Kaduna State, said the instinct came after a careful review of the current situation in the State and his party  as well as consultation within the political circle.
“I lost in the 2007 and 2011 primary elections but I believe strongly in the axiom that says ‘patience pays’,” Miqati said while asking for the support of the party’s delegates.
“I have remained a faithful, loyal and humble member of the party giving my token contributions to the development and growth of the party at local, state and national levels.”
“I have painstakingly studied our state, the issues of governance and the challenges before our great party before this decision. Indeed, I have developed a blue print tagged: “WIPER”  which I believe would help in transforming our dear state if implemented, Miqati said.
He said with his track record of hard work, dedication and devotion to duty, his reasonable level of education, experience and exposure as well as mass appeal to a broad spectrum of voters and leaders alike, he is confident of winning the 2019 for the PDP if given the ticket.
“If geven the ticket of the party, together we shall regain our position in Kaduna state with very little effort,” Miqati said.
