The aspirant contesting the seat of the House of Representative for Akwanga, Wamba and Nasrawa-Eggon Federal Constitency, Barrister Iliya Ibn Aliyu has reiterated his concern to improve the general well-being of the people if given the mandate to the National Assembly in the 2019 forthcoming general election.
Barrister Iliya Ibn who noted that the constituency was one of the backward federal constituencies in the state in term of infrastructural development, poverty, unemployment and lack of basic social amenities, expressed determination to do his best to add value in the lives of the people and to lobbied citing of federal projects in the consistency if voted to the green chamber of the national assembly.
Speaking to newsmen after consulting with the ten wards excos of his intention in Wamba local government, the aspiring lawmaker said, his concern was to let the people in the rural areas feel the presence of government by providing all the basic social amenities needed for their comfort.
Barrister Iliya Ibn however commended the ward officils for responding to him, saying that he has mapped out plans to visit all the 35 ward that made-up of Wamba, Akwanga and Nasarawa-Eggon federal constituency.
He said, with him the days of lamentation of elected representatives abandoning and neglecting the people after election was over, assuring that he would not go the national assembly and just be Abuja lawmaker.
The house of Reps aspirant explained that his visit to the ward excos was to familiarize with them and acquaint himself with the working of the party at the rural areas, calling on them to consider his intention for quality representation.
